David Allen - Featured in Time Magazine

01/03/2008

Many of you are familiar with our friends at the David Allen Company. Some of the techniques we teach in our Personal Productivity course are based on David’s ideas. Over the past five years his ideas about self-management have become renowned worldwide. We first learned about David's work in 1985 when Jan Andersen (then with the John E. Fetzer Foundation) told us about him. Paul Knudstrup subsequently added him to WMU's Fetzer Center's seminar list. He was a huge hit in SW Michigan as he has been all over the world. The David Allen Company has grown to nearly 50 employees and operates as the living embodiment of his teachings. His pivotal book Getting Things Done - The Art of Stress-Free Productivity has been on the New York Times Bestseller list continuously since it was first published in 2002. Among his many attributes, David is on our MCG Top Ten Neat People To Hang Out With List. At Midwest Consulting Group we have supported, encouraged, and partnered with David and his staff; we are delighted to see his wonderful ideas so widely adopted. Recently, he was featured in the Global Business Edition of Time magazine. To read the article, click here. To view David Allen’s website, click here.
